HMB Law Firm has recently successfully closed an acquisition of three Lebanese companies owning a project of a total area of /3,589,000/ sqm in a deal valued at $/220,000,000/ (Two Hundreds Twenty Millions US Dollars). The deal marked one of the largest acquisition in the Lebanese mergers and acquistions activity and is by far "one of the major transaction in the real estate business in Lebanon". HMB effective assignment was to lead the operation from start to finish; this has mainly involved preliminary and advanced negotiations with the buyer, the lawyers, the auditors as well as with various banks, supervision of the due diligence, preparation/drafting/review of all related legal documents.
